Fortune 500 Companies Reliance Industry Top Indian Inc
Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries has jumped 42 places to become India’s highest-ranking company in the Fortune Global 500 list. So far, the public sector Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) was on the top of the Fortune 500 India list in this list. The list was first released in 2010.
Fortune said that during the last ten years, the revenue of Reliance Industries has registered an annual growth of 7.2%. In 2010 it was $ 41.1 billion. At the same time, the income of IOC has increased by 3.64 percent on an annual basis. In 2010 it was $ 54.3 billion. Apart from Reliance Industries and IOC, other Indian companies included in this list are Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), State Bank of India (SBI), Tata Motors, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Rajesh Exports.
