Sundar Pichai gets $240 Million salary for 2020

Sundar Pichai, CEO of the US tech giant Alphabet, received a total salary of $ 281 million or Rs 2,144.53 crore in 2019. Indian Origin Sundar Pichai was among the highest paid CEO in the world. Alphabet has informed stock market that this year his salary will increase to $ 2 million (Rs 15.26 crore). Pichai’s salary is 1085 times the average total salary of Alphabet employees. Sunder Pichai was born in 1972 in Chennai, India.

The majority of Pichai’s salary package will be in the form of in stocks, some of which will be paid based on Alphabet’s stock returns compared to other companies in the US stock market index S&P 100 index. If we look at his salary take home salary which is in 2019, was about $ 6.5 lakhs, which is about Rs5 Crores.
